Injury Rehabilitation

What is Injury Rehabilitation?

Recommended for those with a new or persistent injury, Injury Rehabilitation sessions combine Soft Tissue Therapy with a personalised movement or rehabilitation plan to help you recover and return to your normal daily activities or sport, allowing you to Hurt Less, Move Better, and Live More.

What are the benefits?

The benefits of treatment include:

Reducing pain in your muscles and joints

Engaging the nervous system to help you relax

Gaining confidence in your ability to move safely

Improving your strength, balance and flexibility

Understanding how exercise and movement can be used to help you recover

Injury rehabilitation plans are very personal—they need to not only match your injury but also fit into your lifestyle. Together, we’ll create a movement plan that will ensure that you feel confident and that you will succeed.

What should you expect?

The focus of the treatment is to support you, both physically and mentally, to recover from your injuries and to find a long-term solution.

Together, we’ll discuss the answers to these questions:

What’s wrong?

How long will it take to heal?

What can you do to help yourself?

What can I do to help you?

Sessions may include an assessment of the injury, treatment, and a review of progress.

We will also plan your personal and progressive exercise programme that will help you to recover and return to your normal daily activities or sport as quickly as possible.

The first treatment is usually 75 or 90 minutes long, and follow-up treatments can be either 60, 75, or 90 minutes.

I felt completely overwhelmed with what to do, but you’ve given me the confidence and the guidance to recover from my knee injury. I cannot believe the difference that just one treatment has made! I can squat down and even play with my dog again!
